Cancellation policy

  • Cancellation conditions in case of force majeure of Wondrous Weddings & Events

    • In case Wondrous Weddings & Events cannot be present on the wedding day or the (private) event and this was stipulated in advance in the agreement. In this case, all payments already made are non-refundable. Wondrous Weddings & Events will make every effort to find a suitable replacement for the requested service.

    • What do we mean by force majeure:

      • (serious) illness, hospitalization of wedding and event planner or partner.

      • Death of wedding and event planner, partner or first-degree relative.

      • War situation, natural disasters, pandemic

  • Cancellation conditions in case of force majeure of the customer

    • In case the customer terminates the contract early, the customer does not have to pay any remaining amounts. Invoices that have already been drawn up and sent to the customer must still be paid by the customer. Cancellation due to the termination of the relationship is not considered a valid reason to terminate the contract. If this happens, the full amount as stated in the agreement and all additional costs must be paid.

    • The amount that has already been paid can be used in the form of a voucher within two years after the date of the cancellation. If a price increase has occurred between the period of the cancellation and the new date, the customer must pay this price increase or another arrangement will be mutually agreed.

In the event of a cancellation due to force majeure, the customer must inform Wondrous Weddings & Events of the cancellation as soon as possible. This can be done by telephone on 0489/42.01.79 or by mail wondrousweddings.events@gmail.com.  Even if Wondrous Weddings & Events cancels due to force majeure, they will contact the customer as soon as possible.

  • Cancellation conditions without any form of force majeure

In case of a cancellation without any form of force majeure, the amount already paid cannot be refunded to the customer. In this case, the customer is obliged to pay the full amount of the agreement to Wondrous Weddings & Events.

In the event of a cancellation without any form of force majeure, the customer must inform Wondrous Weddings & Events of the cancellation as soon as possible. This can be done by telephone on 0489/42.01.79 or by mail wondrousweddings.events@gmail.com

Rental conditions

If you rent materials from Wondrous Weddings & Events, you can rent these materials for a period of 3 days. This is a standard period. This includes collection, use and delivery. Do you want to rent the materials for longer than 3 days? Then there is an additional cost per day of 50% of the rental price of the item or items. Collection and collection of the goods is always possible between 08:00 and 20:00. If you return the materials after 8:00 PM on day 3, a new rental day will start.

The materials can be picked up by the tenant or delivered by Wondrous Weddings & Events, except for a transport cost of 0.41 euros. In both cases, clear agreements are made about the times of collection/collection/return. If the hirer is responsible for collecting the materials himself, he is also responsible for the costs and risks associated with the transport, loading or unloading and the placement of the materials.

When making a delivery, it is important that the address details of the tenant are correct. If the tenant is absent and we come to deliver the materials, the tenant himself is liable for the materials.

Wondrous Weddings & Events cannot be held liable for the delivery of the goods at a later time than agreed, regardless of force majeure. All additional insurance or permits are the responsibility of the tenant.

Our materials are always delivered or collected in good condition. Upon collection or delivery, the hirer must sign a document stating that he has received the materials in good condition. If the hirer is not present at the agreed time, and is therefore unable to sign for the document, there is a tacit agreement that the materials have been delivered in good condition. On this document, the tenant can indicate any damage in writing. The document is signed by both the renter and Wondrous Weddings & Events.  The damage must be reported to the landlord before the start of the party. Any later or non-written objection will not be taken into consideration. The tenant also pays a deposit of 75 euros. This amount will be refunded within 5 working days if the materials are in the same condition after the party as upon delivery and if everything is complete (no materials may be missing). The rented materials must be returned in the same condition.

The rental of the materials ends on the agreed date and cannot be extended tacitly. The materials must be returned in the same transport bins and returned on time or be ready for collection.

The renter undertakes to protect the rented materials so that they cannot be damaged. The tenants will make every effort to return the materials to Wondrous Weddings & Events in the same condition. The tenants themselves are liable for any damage caused to the materials. All materials that are not returned or are damaged, regardless of the cause (with the exception of fire or theft - subject to proof), will be charged at the value of the purchase price + 15%. It is not a requirement that the good has been completely destroyed in the process. As soon as there is slight damage, the lessor is entitled to the integral compensation as stated above. All additional direct and indirect (on) costs, including any compensation to the subsequent tenant(s) or the delivery costs of the replacement good, are fully borne by the tenant.

After the event, the renter may receive a balance invoice. Any protest against (part of) the invoices does not suspend the payment obligation for the undisputed part of the invoice. If there is a protest, the renter must protest the invoices by registered letter within 8 days of receipt.

Wondrous Weddings & Events has the right to dissolve the agreement/quote/rental period in the event of serious shortcomings on the part of the tenant without judicial intervention and to retrieve the goods wherever they may be. By shortcoming we mean misuse, relocation abroad, non-payment of invoices, sale to third parties, appropriation, etc. This list is not exhaustive. All direct and indirect (on) costs resulting from this are indisputable and will be invoiced to the renter. These costs are payable immediately upon receipt of the invoice. The tenant in turn cannot claim any compensation or other compensation from Wondrous Weddings & Events.

Wondrous Weddings & Events retains ownership of the rented materials at all times.

Corona/COVID19

Since we will be living with the global pandemic COVID-19 for a while, we have chosen to include an extra clause in the terms and conditions. COVID falls under a temporary force majeure, which means that if the wedding party or (private) party cannot take place on the original date as laid down in the agreement, both parties are obliged to continue the contract on a date on which the party can resume. may continue. Both parties commit themselves to find a date that suits both the wedding and event planner and the customer.

The customer is free to choose a date throughout the year 2022/2023 if the party has to be moved without additional costs. If the client chooses a date when the wedding and event planner is already occupied, both by private and professional consideration, the couple must pay the full amount as per the terms 'cancellation policy without any form of force majeure'._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

If the customer decides to cancel the party in its entirety, the costs must be paid as under the conditions that fall under 'cancellation conditions without any form of force majeure'.

If the customer decides to divide the party into two parts (one part on the original date and one part at a later date), additional costs may be added, not in all cases, and will first be discussed among themselves.

The wedding and event planner adds a 'safe working environment' clause. This means that the wedding and event planner must not comply with the contract/agreement if a safe working environment cannot be achieved. By this we mean that all corona measures imposed by the government must be respected.

The customer will notify the relocation of the party as soon as possible. If the customer wishes to move before certain rules are introduced by the government, they will do so at the latest 1 month before the wedding. This in writing or via email.
